The cabin has central air and there are ceiling fans in every room. In 2023 we installed new LVP flooring throughout the cabin, upgraded the bathrooms, purchased several new furniture pieces and updated the modern-rustic décor. We are excited to share our mountain cabin with your family!
Please note that there is not a grill at the cabin due to the potential for wildfire danger.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
We provide a starter set of soaps, shampoo, dish detergent, garbage bags, toilet paper and paper towels. This starter set is not designed to last your entire stay. Depending on the length of your stay and size of your group you may need to bring or purchase extras.
A drip coffee pot and Keurig is provided. Bring your own coffee/filters/cream/sugar.
Guests have full access to the entire cabin. There is a keypad door lock on the front door. You will receive your private code approximately 24 hours before check-in.
The cabin is located within Little Valley Mountain Resort, however, as owners who privately rent our cabin we do not have access to resort amenities.
All roads leading to the cabin are paved. There is parking for 2 medium vehicles or 1 large vehicle in the cabin driveway - if you have more let me know upon booking so I can tell you where to park. The driveway itself is relatively flat. The last 500 feet of the road up to the cabin is steep, but it's nothing a regular car can't handle during normal driving conditions.
- 2 small/medium vehicles or 1 large vehicle MAX at cabin - if you have more vehicles please let me know so I can tell you where to park.
- All guests must be 21+ with the exception of children with their parents.
- 8 person maximum, including children and infants .
- No smoking or vaping.
- No pets. If you bring a pet you will be charged $300.
- The fireplace is shut down from April 1 to October 1 as with every cabin in the area.
- Use of the hot tub is at your own risk.
- No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage.
- Critters live in the woods. We subscribe to monthly pest control, however this cabin is in the woods and with that comes bugs and other wild animals including bears and racoons. Do not feed any wild animals and do not leave any food outdoors.
- The roof is metal. If a squirrel scurries across the metal roof you might hear it. If it rains you are definitely going to hear it.
- All roads leading to the cabin are paved, however the last 500 feet to reach the cabin is moderately steep and can get slippery during inclement weather. For this reason, consider a 4-wheel drive vehicle if traveling during the winter.
